DAYBREAK

Daybreak was Josh's 1st single of 2021, and his 3rd single overall, which was releasesd on the 26th February 2021. The original version was recorded at the beginning of 2020 whilst he was still in college, originally intended to be part of an EP released in 2020 alongside his first single Through The Clouds, Serenity and one other. Daybreak was edited and changed during the first Covid-19 lockdown, and then eventually re-recorded at the end of the year.

"The track is a simplistic 4 chord piece, written in C Major (arguably the most basic key) to show the simply beauty of life, and the hopeful dawn of a new day. As the piece progresses, the track builds to show the hope progressing into something much bigger, before eventually subsiding into a tranquil and peaceful end, something I imagine we all hope for in life" - Josh
