LETTING GO

Letting Go was the second track released under the artist name JUST!JOSH, and also Josh's second track of 2020. It was written during the beginning of the Covid-19 about 'letting go' of feelings and attachments and having to move on with life.

"In a similar vain to my first single Through The Clouds, letting go took on a myriad of emotions that encompassed me about leaving for university, and although I was excited to do so, it meant leaving behind what I knew and starting out fresh.

The piece was written in F Minor which is a key I often associate with a 'neutral sadness', a key that doesn't engage in a direct pensive sadness like D Minor for example, but still gives the listener a slight melancholic feeling whilst listening" - Josh.
